My name is Babatunde Manuel Akinshola and I'm the current President of ILESA SOCIAL ELITE CLUB.

This Club was founded in April 1964 when illustrious and great Ijesa sons came together and muted the idea of a gathering of like minds. Membership of this Club has included Obas and Chiefs, Chief Judges, Ambassadors, Vice Chancellors, Professors, lawyers, engineers, Accountants, industrialists, just name them.
The objective of the Club is to provide a platform for all Ijesa sons to network for personal development and interact for the peace and progress of Ijesaland. The Club is non-religious, non-political and non-partisan. It is not a secret society. It's an open social Club where we have many men of God from all faiths.
With vision and foresight, our fathers thought it fit to bring in their sons into the Club for one purpose: continuity. And today we're happy to let you know that we the younger generation have keyed in to the vision of our founding fathers. As you can see, almost all members of my executive committee are young people like me. I have the honor to be the first ever young person to occupy the position of president of this great Club. I assure you, my team will not disappoint. We shall take this Club to great heights that will make our fathers proud of their decision to bring us in. God will help us

We also plan to have branches in Maryland in the US and Toronto Canada in the shortest possible time. Never mind that your Ijesa is not fluent bi temi bee, or that you live outside Ijeshaland or outside Nigeria, or even that you have never even been to Ijeshaland. I personally want to welcome you home and show round. We all want to contribute our quota to the development of Ijeshaland.
